    RSgal,
This is the second season that i have had Extra Innings...and i am not sure i could live without it. I get to watch most of the games i want (mostly Giants games). last night i watched the white sox - blue jays game...after watching the end of the Giants - Dbacks game.

as for Dessens, i can't argue with you since you obviously watch a lot more of their games than i do. brenly has been up against the wall lately with all the injuries to his starting staff. middle relieve could be an option but one could only assume that Brenly has a plan for this guy.

tough series against the giants this week for you guys. yesterday's game was what makes baseball a wonderful, but frustrating game. d-backs get 13 or 14 hits. giants get 5 hits...but 3 of them are homers and they win 3-2.

Without Extra Innings, I believe I would just have to move back to Arizona. Anyway, about Brenly...I love the guy, and you're right, he probably does have plan for Dessens. He's a great manager, and I should probably just learn not to question his judgement. But then again, that takes away all the fun of being a fan! :D

i heard an interesting statistic regarding Dessens the other night. He is the only pitcher in the diamondbacks rotation that has not missed a start this season. One thing is for sure, he is dependable this season. brenly knows he can throw him out there every 5th day and get 5 or 6 good innings out of him. he is averaging about 5.6 innings a start, so RSgal, you may be onto something there. but it looks like he had a nice start the other night...along with an RBI triple for the only run of the game.

I certainly can't complain about that, he kicked ass the other day.
