Remember at the VERY beginning when I said John Blake was gonna be their downfall? I've complained about Black Santa / The Bagman for years. Spurrier's son coached at OU right after that pile of shit left. He knew all about him. That's just one of the many reasons Spurrier's talked about that guy in the past.

Davis KNEW all of this. He's just as fucking dirty. Whole staff will be gone soon.

CHAPEL HILL --- University of North Carolina football student-athletesGreg Little and Robert Quinn are permanently ineligible, according to a decision today by the NCAA student-athlete reinstatement staff. The university declared both student-athletes ineligible for violations of NCAA agent benefits, preferential treatment and ethical conduct rules. According to the facts submitted by the university, the total value of the benefits is approximately $4,952 for Little and $5,642 for Quinn.

Little accepted diamond earrings, as well as travel accommodations for the Bahamas, Washington D.C. and two trips to Miami, among other benefits. Quinn accepted two black diamond watches, a pair of matching earrings and travel accommodations for a trip to Miami, among other benefits.

So, the more that comes out about this, the less and less that I see culpability from UNC's side. I mean, unless you are going to have someone shadow every athlete 24/7, how on earth do you prevent someone from taking free stuff and then lying about it? Now, if it turns out that Blake knew about the gifts, then all of that might change.

And no, it is not just because I am an alumnus.

The academic piece still has not had the other shoe drop, so I am not talking about that piece.

Interesting SI article regarding an agent and all that they do.

Agent mentions Gary Wichard and John Blake.

That agent wasn't necessarily big time but he was big enough to be in with some NFL stars. Just imagine if Drew Rosenhaus spilled the beans.

a Duke grad just told me that Baddour was emphatic at his last press converence that Little's payments happened after the 2009 basketball season. But that Little had lied to NCAA officials about other stuff so how can you believe him now? Then he says "carolina might have to forfeit it's national championship in basketball."
