    I think that they are probably just trying to make sure they cover their asses in case these guys get suspended later on. Better to have them suspended instead of play and then have to vacate the wins.

    It will probably help with any potential probations as well.

    what I see on that depth chart is

    NO running backs

    NO - I mean ZERO secondary.

    I know the DL and linebackers are missing studs but there was plenty of quality depth at both positions.

    But with that secondary - sheesh, if LSU has any passing game at all they will light UNC up

    ...hey FranchisePal, trust me on this, 1. I'm a die hard wolfpack fan. and 2. Yes its a joke to many about whats going on at UNC, but the results of this gig. ie, when the wave finally hits the beach, and the NCAA racks up infractions then it hurts ALL of us in the ACC.
    Some folks say any press is good press, but when it hurts the conference in the pocketbook, somebody has got to take the heat. Have your opinion as I do, mine is Butch is kicked to the curb. Maybe you UNC folks will get a taste of what NCSU/Valvano nation went through. I started this comparison because I know the results of Jimmy V's NCAA gig, nothing ever materialized from the NCAA but the backlash from what was stated ruined NCSU for years.

    The only thing that the AD and Butch can do now is to Man Up, clean house of anybody/player who has issues and play the good guys like champs win or lose.

    We'll see.

    that was a hell of a game. I mean, don't fuck up a bunch and you make it an upset against a team that's 19-0 against non-conference.
