Good point Dan, he has played extremely well during the post season defensively and offensively. Rafee sometimes struggles with the glove but not in this series. If he can carry this into next year to go along with his rocket arm and lightning speed, a permanant spot on the All-Star team awaits.

also, it was nice to see Chipper get something going. :xyzthumbs

i agree with you guys, nice to see jd and chipper make contact. they have been horrendous.

andruw, the kid is on fire. he is seeing the ball well, and not missing anything. i hope he keeps this up.

i loved the steals in the 9th.

i really like our chances with a rested wright vs. oswalt on 3 days rest. 3 days rest is tough after 200+ innings in a season, no matter how young an arm is.

ESPN announcers kept saying that Oswalt has sore ribs, am I missing someting here? When did he injure himself?

I was discussing this with a Yankee fan before the Astros sent Roger to the mound on short rest in game 4. We both thought they should save him for game 5. I think that managers sometimes out think themselves during the playoffs instead of sticking with what got them there.

Has anyone figured out why they took Biggio out of that game with the double-switch?

I don't think this is a new injury. I think he has been battling this rib thing for most of the season. It must not have bothered him too badly, he won 20 games.

that was stupid in a tie game. if they're up, its a good move to get a better fielder in and use the double switch. as it was, it was sorta dumb.

I thought Garner was quoted as saying it was for defensive purposes.

    man Beltran has Wrights number,

It's about time to bring in the bullpen. Hopefully the Braves can do some damage against the Astros relievers
