    only because clemens is a god tho, according to the goons announcing. i kept waiting for them to say the 6 walks only showed he had great command and could miss the corner if he wanted to.

    i really wish that he was still a yankee. it was much easier to centralize my hate and not have to spread it around to several games.

    with that said, it was their bats and our leaving runners stranded that lost this one for us. not roger.

    ya know, the amazing thing, was this was clemens first game 1 win ever. that was hard to believe.

    hampton vs oswalt tomorrow. hampton has been lights out as of late, really the whole 2nd half. oswalt is like a young rocket but this is his first post-season start. should be a great game.

    yeah, those announcers really got under my skin too. Here are the facts...

    The first four innings, Clemens walked 7 batters. Atlanta has bases loaded in two innings and two runners on the other two innings. Atlanta only got two runs out of it. Clemens pitched terrible the first half of the game. Problem was, and typical for Atlanta in the post season, they did not make him pay for it.

    looks as if the braves are afraid to advance past 2nd base today. leaving way too many guys on, again. hampton has outpitched oswalt so far, but he made 2 mistakes that the stros didn't miss. their hitters are hitting mistakes right now, and the braves are not hitting AT ALL with runners in scoring position. they better turn this shit around.
