Well will always be a Braves fan when I have an interest in baseball. I just don't care about baseball much anymore. It is barely above the NBA for me now.

If the Braves would happen to start losing, then ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the fans that jumped on the bandwagon when they started winning 12 yrs ago will jump ship to the 'Nats...So long as THEY'RE winning. I hope it happens sooner rather than later, just to see how many of the fans that came out of the woodwork back then, are TRUE Braves fans. :laugh1:

I wouldn't be too sure of that. I agree there are a lot of "bandwagon" Braves fans out there but I think the diehard fans outnumber the casual fans. Watching Braves on TBS all summer long has been a tradition in this area for a long while.

I think CSET is going to try to get the broadcast rights to the 'Nats for the Carolinas . . Not sure if that would interfer with the Braves being here already  . . . I think the Orioles would still have the AL territory down here . . . .

My son is a diehard Braves fan (don't know what went wrong) and he watches them as much as he can. Maybe I can still switch him to the other side! I argree CavsRassle, when the time comes (I hope soon) that the Braves are average, I can promise you that the fans in Atlanta will NOT come out to see them play. Hell, they don't come out now in the first round of the playoffs. We have family & friends in Atlanta, and believe me when I say this, they'll support the Braves just like they did back in the eighty's. Not very well. I've been to Fulton County Stadium before when there were only 5,000 people (and this was a Saturday game). They will only follow a winner. Which I quess is no different than any other city today.

The last strike just about did me in......only thing that would boost my interest in MLB would be the complete and total shutdown and disbanding of the NBA.

im sad to say that ive already had one foot in the red sox camp since mid 2003

ever since the braves got bought out by that evil fucking corporation with its cost cutting moves, im afraid a division title is the best they are gonna be able to do.

having said that, they are stil my #1 team

I'm a fan of the Los Angeles California Angels of Anaheim. :thud:

I do like Vlad though, he's probably the best player in the game right now as far as consistency goes.

Sucks that the Nats don't have him and Cabrero to go along with Vidro now. They would get a pretty big fanbase.
