Now that there is another NL Team in the vincinity, I wonder how many folks here will jump on the 'Nats bandwagon and leave the Braves . . A little? A few folks  ? ? I think some radio outlet down here will pick up the 'Nats games . . .

Not if it doesn't bring in the $$$$$$'s. It's not like Charlotte has gotten a team. I just wonder how much local ad money one can get with this team. The Braves have a lock down on a lot of this area.

I'm going to stick with the Braves until Charlotte gets a team. You think that is ever going to happen?

They already play every Orioles game in Charlotte. I actually miss seeing the Orioles. I bet they will play the Nationals too since they are about an hour closer.

REAL braves fans will continue to be braves fans no matter where they are located.

the casual braves fan (the ones that became fans of the tomahawk chop in say...1991) will start pulling for the Nationals when they build a winner and the braves become losers.

my guess is that there are more casual fans than REAL fans in the Charlotte area.

who cares really? I mean it's not like they are the charlotte braves. They just enjoy a broad territory because no other team used to be in the close area.

Always the Braves, unless Charlotte gets a team.

OBTW: From MLB.COM Raul Mondesi, 33, will fill the right field void for the Braves created when J.D. Drew was allowed to become a free agent. Mondesi's contract, which is filled with incentives, is believed to be worth slightly more than $1 million
