some one just asked Fox about an article in Sports Illustrated about the Panthers moving up to pick Quinn in the draft. Don't make me go Mora Sr on ya. Even if we didn't win another game, trading up from 9 to 1 would cost entirely too much.

So he thinks we'll be picking about 9th? Currently it's about 17th.

    edit: Make that currently 12th.

Quinn is overrated as crap. He can't even win the big games. He and Weis together haven't beaten a team that will finish the year in the top 25 and they won't this year with GT having to play WVU which will knock them out. The only games where he beat a ranked opponent were his sophomore year and he didn't even perform that well in those games. He has padded his stats against the service academies and Weis has abandoned the run a lot this year so his stats aren't as good as they seem. I hope to God we don't get Quinn.

I agree. I'm not that impressed with Quinn from the games I've watched him in. Every big game I've seen him play he wasn't all that great considering the amount of media attention he gets. He may be a great pro, who knows, but I'd rather have Matt Schaub

if brady quinn is the no1 pick in the draft, we should trade away every pick and just not draft anyone.

Fox was saying we'd pick no higher than 9th EVEN IF WE LOST ALL OUR GAMES.

Damn, you guys should be news reporters. Or maybe you should stop reading how things are spun.

The team currently picking 4th only has 2 less wins than us. It's certainly possible to be higher than 9th.
