Bradford second Sooner to win this decade (White- QB 2003)

    http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=496733

I was listening to "Sporting News" radio while I was out running around Saturday afternoon and they had a couple of NFL scout/draft guys (not gonna call 'em experts because even they said the draft is a crapshoot) talking about the Heisman candidates prospects in the draft. They thought Bradford might be the only one taken on the first day and Tebow anywhere from the 2nd to 4th. Matthew Stafford was predicted to go high in the first round but neither was that impressed with him. Should be an interesting draft even though we don't have a first.

Matthew Stafford has one year left of eligibility

Tim Tebow also has one year left of eligibility

Sam Bradford has two years of eligibility left

All have said they'll look at their options, which pretty much means they go if high enough in the draft (money) and they don't go to Detroit (LOL).

I'm a bettin' if Stafford declares first, which puts him in Detroit Tim and Sam go too.

I was watching Todd McShay ESPN last night and he projects Tebow a 3rd rounder. Hell I'd take him in the third and sit him a couple years to learn

Tebow will need time, undoubtedly. His skill set is such that you really need to keep him from using that talent before he has some idea of what he's doing, or he'll never really mature.

I do think that the talk of him at other positions is certainly premature if not somewhat foolish. If the guy fails at QB, then you try him elsewhere. It's certainly risky either way, though, and there's a thought process in which a team could easily adapt an offense to him and so on, and make things more open, but there have been talented QBs over time with his skill set that could've had that as well. He's talented but it's such a question mark. He's really going to have to re-prove everything after a huge college career.

As a gator fan and a dolphin fan, I would love to see him stay in Miami and I think his skill set is perfect for the offense they run there. But, they have their Qb in training there and Pennington hopefully isn't going anywhere for a while.

He's gonna need the extra year at the college level and I think he knows that. He's gotta tighten his passes, cause NFL Dbs are chomping at the bits for those lobs he throws right now. Looks like he stole that right out of Spurrier's QB book.

I think they had McCoy going in the third round as well. How tall is he? They have Stafford as the top QB being taken and if the Lions get the #1 pick which they will they will take him, so if I was Stafford I would definitely stay in school and hope they don't suck bad enough to get back to the #1 pick. Going to Detroit is just a career ender. They had Sanchez as being a late first rounder and they had Bradford in the middle to late first round as well. This is if they all came out this year. I'm not really sold on Sanchez as being an NFL QB

I'd hate to be the guy in front of Tebow though. Unless you are Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, your fan base is going to be calling for him with ever INT you throw.

Congrats to Bradford, hard to argue with his numbers he put up the last 5 games.
