Last two games I've seen him in, he doesn't look half bad. Should he get an extra spot in the rotation and get playing time every game?

Reminds me of Carrawell in a way. Unconventional yet surprisingly effective.

He kinda looks like he'll lose the ball every time he touches is, but somehow it always goes in, and he fights for rebounds to, and the crowd absolutely loves him cause he seems to be a hard worker who shows emotion. I think he could get minutes in each game and extend Duke's rotation to 9 players once Nelson gets back.

9 player rotation when Nelson gets back? Are you hoping the Pocius works into the regular rotation as well in close games?

He's played at least some minutes in every single game this year, and he's just been getting more and more minutes. Not saying he'll play twenty minutes or anything but for the last couple of games he's been getting at least 10 minutes

My boy (huge UNC fan) and I had an interesting conversation about duke and unc fans. We're kinda perverse. I know I'm not the only dookie here to watch almost every heel game, and the heel fans are the same way about dook. It's funny, sad, and kinda scary.

Anyway, I don't know much about Boykin yet, but the freshmen are starting to step up. Nelson will be back before you know it and then it's March. Lets play some ball baby :)

Agreed, I watch every UNC or dook game when they are on TV. I try to catch other ACC teams when I can or other big time games, but always UNC or dook.

Of course having the DVR now helps. I can now play Tivo with slynuts!

    :woohoo:

He's gotten minutes in all ten games that Duke has played. He's played 95 minutes in the 10 games he's played so it's about 10 minutes a game, and he's played about 10-15 minutes the last three games, and he's gotten in early in the first half before the games were blowouts. I can see promise in Boateng if he can work on his footwork on defense, and he could be a factor maybe next year or his junior year, but not this year. Boykin is playing better though.

I was just comparing minutes in the last 3 blowout games compared to the 3 games before that, where the games were very close.
