Bowls!

It's what stupid people want. I've already explained many reasons why a playoff is a horrible idea and you had no answers for any of them, you just keep saying that everyone wants it. Didn't your mother ever teach you that "everyone else is doing it!" isn't valid reasoning?

 

Your explanation only makes sense to you. Why can't you except that? If nobody else agrees with you, maybe you are wrong. It happens. Suck it up and deal with it. Grow up, Collin. You'll make a fine adult.

 

Again, my whole life I've said "______ will happen if you do _____," people didn't listen, then I end up proven right. Note that none of you can even pretend to argue against what I'm saying regarding a playoff, you just don't care. You know they usually don't crown the best team, you just don't care. You know that they hurt the regular season, you just don't care.

 

That's The Point

Everyone else is doing it. NHL, MLB, NFL, NCAA Baseball, NCAA Basketball, high schools, etc. That's how everybody else crowns their champions. It must be a good idea.

 

Teams with losing records, 6 wins, or a losing record in their conference should not be in bowls. 7 wins is stupid IMO. I think to qualify for any bowl you should have at least 8 wins. I like having a few extra bowl games, but the some of the bowls are just ridiculous.

As far as the playoff system, I couldn't care less. I like it that the FCS has the bowl system, but if App State moves to a BCS conference I'll be pissed.

Look at State and UNC - both 7-5, but 4-4 and 3-5 in the ACC. Pathetic that they're in bowl games.
