Now you're changing the argument. Of course it's difficult to get elite schools to play road games against good non-BCS schools, not only because of the competition but because there's no incentive financially. It's good to get elite schools to play road games against good schools from other BCS conferences too. Elite teams like home & homes versus other elite teams to generate maximum revenue and exposure. But universities like Fresno State and TCU are willing to play those top schools at their stadiums, and sometimes they've won. Non-BCS schools have to be willing to do that if they want consideration for the national title. Utah's road schedule is an absolute joke, and by far the worst of all-time for anyone who finished in the top five.

you can tell me its a myth, but looking at the schedules from year to year, midmajors that aren't regional rarely play elite programs even with away games, and it still doesn't negate the point that for a midmajor to make it into the championship game it has to be lucky in a multitude of ways.

If the majority of fans think the system sucks...than the system sucks. Time and time again college football fans have expressed thier displeasure, and the chorus seems to grow louder every year.

You said that it doesn't happen. I proved you wrong and showed you that elite BCS schools are perfectly willing to play strong non-BCS schools. Boise State and Utah choose not to play top BCS competition precisely because a humiliation like the one Boise State suffered at Georgia hurts public perception of their program. They instead prefer to play solid BCS schools that they have a better chance of beating.
You have got to be kidding me. The majority of people believe in ghosts. The majority of people are stupid.

lets forget about this who argument and just agree on one thing.....Bob Stoops and his OU Sooners need to be banned from any big games along with Ohio State. I'm not sure if it is they have no pressure players or if its there coaching. Yes I am aware that OU won a NC a good while back...and Jim Tressell won on a fluke against Miami. Since then neither of these teams can come through. Teams like these take places of smaller schools such as Utah even though i do agree they need to play a tougher non conf. schedule.
