    someone on Fox SS yesterday said the Tire Bowl will end up being NC State and Va Tech... GOOD game

    That would make life simpler for the Peach Bowl, which is waiting for the Gator to make its decision so it can decide between N.C. State and Clemson.


    I think the Peach will take Clemson. Clemson will bring 40,000-50,000 fans. Plus Clemson is hot right now.

    I also read somewhere that Ga.Tech would possibly be in the Tangerine Bowl...

    Thanks you BC!

    Both the ACC and Big East were planning to announce Bowl pairings but the BC game threw a monkey wrench in the whole process. Also, the UVa/Tech game mussed it up a bit, too, on the ACC side.

    Right now, it still looks like MD to the Gator if they beat Wake.
    NCSU to the Peach.

    If Wake beats MD, Clemson gets the Gator.

    The Gator and Peach are rumored to have released Ga Tech and UVa from consideration.

    The conferences don't want rematchs so things are really scrambled right now to avoid MD/WVU or VA/VaTech matchups.

    Oh, boy. :rolleyes:

    I just hope WVU ends up in some mismatched BCS game so I can bet against them.

    Gator may announce MD as the ACC team today. Things should fall into place quickly on the ACC side. If it happens, we may know CTB pairings today.

    I'm hearing UT, assuming a victory of UK, will go to the Capital One Bowl and play 9-3 Purdue.
