    Why will it be like a part of baseball died? A crappy ass streak of bad things is not part of baseball.

    Shit like this really pisses me off. True Red Sox fans do not - repeat DO NOT - define themselves by this stupid fucking streak.

    It's you people who do and think that it's quaint to try to make our fucking misery a neat part of baseball.

    a very good team playing second fiddle to the most dominant team in sports for 80 years is a part of baseball. whether you like it or not. good god nancy, you won. go hop in your faggety beamer and ride off in the sunset of your denied baseball history. true red sox fans do - i repeat - do live in boston...... get over it man

    And where you live has nothing to do with your allegiance to a team. The fact that the Red Sox have not won a WS since 1918 is a fact that I can live with. The notion that it is a cute little piece of baseball history that should be missed is what pisses me off.

    Not really, because we'd still have the shitty Cubs to kick around! They haven't BEEN to the series, let alone win it, since 1945, and they are cursedf as well....something about a goat (no I am not making that up).

    Yes, I know all about the guy that put a curse on the Cubbies because they wouldn't let his goat into the ballpark to see the game. But that curse is second fiddle to the Bosox curse.
