I don't like her at all. And it keeps freaking me out to see Angel out in the sunshine.

I watched the first episode, but it didn't really keep my interest. I did not watch the second. Too many of these crime drama on TV these days.

I read that the show is loosely (?) based on the life/career of Kathleen Reichs, a professor at UNCC. I had her for anthropology my freshman year, I think. This was when she was first starting to consult with CMPD. She'd tell us stories about going down there and helping to ID skeletons and stuff. If I recall correctly she was fairly hot back then, in a teacher sort of way.

That's cool. She's evidently published several books also. Sounds like a cool professor. Here's a link (a little dated) that tells a little about her.

I took her anthropology class in the mid 90s -- she was there half the time, the other half we watched movies about monkeys.

She was an OK professor, seemed more of a gig for her to gain prestige and some side cheeze rather than wanting to teach anyone, FWIW.

I watched the first 30 minutes of the first episode, it sucked ass, so I haven't watched it since.
