    I don't believe a thing that comes out of that man's mouth.I'm sure that if he hits 40 dingers this year to close within 7 homers of Aaron that he will hang it up.If he gets close he will be back in 07.

    he cant retire fast enough for me. im not a big baseball fan but he ruins what baseball coverage I do hear/see. he is suck an arrogant jackass who spins everything that happens to him on the media. F-bonds

    Bonds rules and you know it.

    He came back at the end of the season and smoked guys like he didn't miss a day. He'll get the record this year regardless...

    I'll love seeing MLB have a man they hate as the HR leader.

    He should not be acknowledged as the HR leader if he breaks the record because he admitted in grand jury testimony to taking anabolic steroids.

    He is the biggest piece of shit in pro sports and I hope he has a career ending injury in spring training.

    whatever. You aren't a baseball fan if you think Bonds is all steroids. He is a sick offensive machine and steroids could have only helped that a little. He's fun to watch and is better than other "steroid" guys like strikeout sammy, the king of unimportant HR's.

    As for him being a piece of shit, he seems to only want to pass Ruth anyways, since Aaron's record is better, yet Ruth is the holy man of baseball.

    I see it more as getting back at the racist pieces of shit that put ruth on a higher level, even though he played during a time of all whites. Bonds took all his records in a time when the competition is at a much higher level.

    And cheated to do it. You yourself just said the steroids only helped a little. Who's to say had Ruth taken steriods that he still wouldn't have been #1 overall. Or had Aaron taekn them if he'd be over 800 Homers. Cheatings cheating.
