    There were grumbles but the real boos were rightly reserved for Shannon Brown.

    Worst dunk contest in years but you can't really blame the old guy.

    Well I guess you can only come up with so many dunks, so the fact that the stars don't participate in the dunk contest either, not sure what there would be to get people interested or even get hyped over the event.

    I recall years ago that we would have dunk contest parties. Now, this was the first one I had watched in probably the last 7 or 8 years and regret doing so.

    Dominique Wilkins vs. Michael Jordan is the stuff you have parties around. Nothing like that around today.

    They should just cancel the dunk contest. It's a bunch of nobodies competing these days and to be honest all the dunks that were worth watching have already been done by better players, Jordan, Wilkins etc. I think they must keep doing it because it's become a tradition. Usually I'm all for traditional things but this one needs to be buried.

    THe Bobcats are to the Nets as NC State is to UNC.

    If the Nets could only play Charlotte every game they would be golden.
