Looking at the standings they are only about four or five games out of the last playoff spot. Granted that says more about the lack of quality teams than it does about the Bobcats but still if they could make a run at it that would generate a lot more interest in them.

I don't see how that is close. The Bobcats have the third worst record in the east and are farther from the 8th spot than the 3rd worst Western team. They are farther from the playoffs than the worst team in the West.

Damn, they won another one! They are a great road team.

I would not called them a great road team not just yet.But with that said they are looking very good right now.I think if not this year then next year they should make the playoff for sure

I think, as of yesterday, they are 8-16 on the road.

Well, it is the Bobcats. Great is a subjective term.

while true, that doesn't really matter. top 8 per conference make it--a run by the kitties could get them in. I don't think that will happen, but beating a good (well, decent) Denver team is a step in the right direction.

Thelt was saying they were close becuase of how week the East is. If they are close than every team in the NBA but the two below them in the East are "close".

I am not predicting that they will make the playoffs. I am just saying that at the half way point they are not out of it. They have been playing pretty well lately.

Considering what the draft looks like, I really don't want them to make the playoffs. Oden or Durant could really put this team in an amazing position, long term.
