Bobcats want Paul Silas???

Realistically, I see them wanting one other big man and one guard. You can make specific cases for where each position is "good enough", but this team's obviously not as a whole. I don't see Brezic or Ely being worth putting bigger money into, later, so I see a young guy there, probably with the other first round pick.

Problem is, you don't want a center, you don't want a shooter, so obviously you have something in mind otherwise. What?

actually, charlotte has a better chance of drafting 1st than does does new orleans by nature of the cleveland first round pick. given that the first three spots are selected by random draw of balls, i think charlotte also has a better chance of landing the #2 pick.

 

Well all I know in regards to this is that New Orleans won the coin toss that gave them the technical #2 spot in the draft order in which the draft lottery will be based on. That being said they said it mean New Orleans would have more ping pong balls in the ticker and will get a better chance at a high pick than Charlotte.

 

I had assumed so, considering his insistence that we'd be drafting 3rd and his liking UNC. Is he that incredible a fit? He seems interesting, but is this just a matter of wanting the hometown boy?

 

Actually I don't know if I'd really want Marvin. vp assumes too much. My first pick would probably be Paul. I also like Deron Williams if he leaves. I more say it because I DON'T want Bogut. And if they take a Center first it'll probably be him. He's not worth a pick that high. I'd take him around the 10-15 area.

 

I think he is very credible. He will most likely move to SF in the NBA and certainly has the range and ability to put the ball on the floor to do that. He needs to work on his post game but that will come.

If the bobcats wanted to go small, I guess Okefor could rotate to center and Marvin to PF?
