They could do worse. It would be kind poetic in a way.

    I'd love it.

And I haven't watched a single nanosecond of Bobcats.

I've hoped for this ever since the Hornets left. I felt like Cowens was our best head coach in history, until he stepped down for Silas. I thought Bernie did a fine job, but I'd prefer a seperate GM/Coach.

    Come home Paul.

wouldn't be bad - essentially, this team will be built off a franchise PF and will most likely have a young center in here as well. Silas coaches big men very well, and his offensive style is complimentary of what I'd guess is their team concept right now.

why do you see a young Center? Who would they get? At this point they are looking at the 3rd overall pick. Atlanta would take Bogut or Paul, New Orleans would take Bogut or Paul, and Charlotte would take Paul or Williams. With both Atlanta and New Orleans drafting before Charlotte I've got to assume Bogut is off the board. Though I really wouldn't want him anyways. Furthermore Brezic has shown he's pretty good and Ely isn't shabby off the bench. So I see no reason they'd need to get another Center. At least until next year when Greg Oden becomes available. (Assuming there's no age limit)

Charlotte may be drafting first.... I think the centers they have are ok. The biggest need they have is for a scorer who can create his own shot.

Possibly, but there's a better chance that New Orleans and Atlanta draft first due to the draft lottery.

They can get a shooter with that second 1st rounder they have.
