help me understand this - why did we cut a guy who's contributing,so we could trade for a guy who's not?

house kept us in a lot of games this year- i'm perplexed by this. 11ppg, a ball handler, streaky 3 pt shooter- there is a premium on those in the league.

I too was shocked that we cut House. Didn't we give up a second to get him? Or was it a second to get him and Ely? Either way, we're down at least one second round pick to the Clips for those trades, plus the second to move up in the draft.

I like Kareem Rush, but at some point we're gonna run out of seconds. Perhaps the Cats are banking on the NBA going to one round drafts?

If we had both Rush and House, IMO House wouldn't get much playing time. Rush could never get his hands on the ball in LA what with Kobe. Trust me when Rush comes on board we won't worry much about losing House

Hell I don't have a problem getting rid of him, but I think we coulda got SOMETHING in return for him.

Hell maybe trade him for someone else's lower 2nd round pick.

they might have got rid of him for cap space to sign Rush as well as the actual roster spot. it said they tried to trade him though, to denver almost.
