    The cap hit makes sense, only if this is the last year of his contract though. I still don't agree with giving up a high second round pick to keep the Hawks from getting JJ. Like I said, there are plenty of players next year coming up that are even better than Joe.

    That's true, the espn article claimed that JJ was lowballed by the Suns earlier this summer by about 30 mil. That would have been a stupid move by the Suns, as it has been obvious JJ would command a near max deal for some time. JJ asked the Suns not to match the offer sheet, which may mean a sign and trade is coming. Perhaps the Hawks will trade five of their swingmen for one who can play.
