Makes you wonder why Stern was so adamant about putting another team here so quickly. Shinn had driven all the enthusiasm out of the city for the NBA and there was absolutely no outcry for another team to be placed here. Getting Johnson as a replacement owner sealed the deal. I'm sure if it wasn't for the lease the Bobcats would in the future become the new Seattle Sonics (minus Johnson as the owner).

And five boards. He's really fast and had a couple of beautiful passes last night, very good vision. I was pretty disappointed when we drafted him but he's on a tear right now. Very exciting player and someone for Bobcat fans to be happy about.

DJ is pretty good. Felton is so gone.

Felton is gone if there is much free agent interest in him, but I'm not sure there will be. The Bobcats could easily keep him around as a combo guard, especially since no free agents ever want to sign with them.

If Felton could ever get consistent.

The other night, 31 against the Bucks.

Then some shit like 2 for 14 against Boston.

Tonight, 14 pts, 14 asts, ONE turnover.

I was at tonight's game, and the atmosphere was the worst that I've ever been to. There was a lady on the first row who slept, and I mean literally slept, through the entire third quarter. Her husband finally took her home with about eight minutes to go in the game. The guy I was with said it was pretty sad that someone would pay that much money for a seat to take a nap. I said it was sadder that the rest of the people who were there couldn't make enough noise to keep her awake.

I actually feel so bad for the team that I'm thinking of going to some games. It reminds me of that first Hurricanes season in Greensboro.
