The way it looks with a small move up like that, it will only cost Charlotte a future 2nd rounder, and considering they have 2 2nd rounders next year this would be a decent move.

2 things. It says it would cost Charlotte a future 1st rounder. And Bogut ain't a quality player.

Do you remember which year it was that Charlotte will be getting their other 1st round pick? I know they gained 2 extra from the expansion draft. I'm thinking one was the LA Clippers and the other was Cleveland's through Phoenix (that was this year's). I'd probably trade that one.

I think this would be a good move if they're giving an extra first round pick away. If it's their own pick, I rather see them trade the 13th pick, the future first and a future second round pick for the 3rd pick. Two of the first five picks would be worth that. Giving up one of our own future first round picks to move up two spots and still not being assured of getting who we really want isn't worth it.
