    Are they free to use the whole salary cap yet? It seems like they ought to pursue some free agents if they can. They need an outside shooter pretty badly. A guy like Stojakovic might really help.

    they are able to use the entire cap, however, I think they are looking to add through the draft. FA's will come after that (once they see what they picked up on Wednesday).

    I would not sign anyone until after the draft either but they are going to have to make some moves in free agency if they are going to get much better anytime soon. This is year three coming up they need to show some improvement.

    IMO they have a pretty solid group of guys who can play defense but they need a scorer to make them a playoff contender.

    this year's FA crop is very weak.

    next year's is absolutely incredible though

    Clearly, guys Wade and LeBron won't be coming to charlotte, but next year is where it's at
