but he's not a center. it's simply not his game. his game is more along the lines of a point forward. when he's aggressive and attacking, he generally puts up good numbers and makes the team better. when he's over-passing and hesitating on shots or just standing around the perimeter... well, then he's not helping.

I certainly agree with all of that, but I think he's doing it on purpose because he's trying to be more point than forward. I was at the Houston game, and there were times where I thought he was actually in Kemba or D.J.'s way as they were trying to run the offense because he was trying to do things that he shouldn't be doing.

3rd game i went to since being in town. another loss. boris horrible yet again.

it seems like mullens is the only one trying to play out there , but i dont know how wise it is giving him 20 shots a game.

ill probably pass on the golden state game cause i dont want to see them get blown out yet again. maybe catch mondays game and see if they will give an effort.

0 points in a game then follows it up with 3 points for a game.
The dude is stealing money from his employers. Does he not want to play? Fucker.
Bismack had 5 blocks in a few minutes of playing time and Mullens is the team mvp so far.

I went last night as well, and most of the team looked consistently disinterested in marking anyone on defense or boxing out. They like blocking shots and going for steals, but that's about it.

he is what he is. lemme ask you, when you say he needs to remember he's playing center, what do you expect him to do that he's not?

people get in dj's way all the time cuz he over-dribbles looking to set himself up.

the only thing interesting about this team right now is mullens and walker. i really, really like kemba's demeanor and his defense. i've really soured on augustin. too much dribbling to set up his own shot.

I read that Diaw is on the trading block. Maybe Jordan does feel the same way I do about him. He is no longer starting.

Play center. I meant to post this earlier, but take the Detroit game last Friday. On a possession where he was playing five, he got the ball, backed his man down, set up a shot....then threw a no look pass to D.J., who missed the three. On the next possession, he got the ball, backed his man down, set up the shot...and took the shot and made it. The first time, he didn't pass up a shot because he was timid. He passed up a shot because he was trying to make a more spectacular play that he had no business making.

If Silas wants to play him at point forward, that's one thing. But when he's not playing point forward, he's hurting the team more than helping the team when he does shit like no look passes for three attempts rather than 12 foot jumpers over smaller guys.

He seems to have finally found his way into the doghouse, so we'll have to see how he responds to get out of it.
