    That was a pretty awful season. What will suck worse is if they do not win the lottery.

    I am not really sure where they go from here. Even if they get the first pick and land a solid player they are a long way from being competitive.

    This is the sad part. Even with Davis, they're still unwatchable.
    It'll take at least another tank-year and lottery top 3 just to have the chance to be decent. And who's going to pay to watch that ?

    Coaching jobs are scarce, so if someone really wanted to be an NBA coach again, they'd take it.

    I'm scared that we're about to see the Patrick Ewing coaching era begin.

    exactly. the only people interested are going to be first-timers -- either ex players or assistants who think they can run a team. maybe a college coach trying to break into the nba.

    tho, i guess given the cost-cutting over the last few years, i'm guessing jordan wouldn't want to pay an elite coach anyway.

    I can imagine they got a little weary of his son filling in for no apparent reason at all other than nepotism.
