It was clearly his idea. Now they're really fucked for a couple more years.

    sure.
And, his outbursts at the end over there don't help him.
    But, he's a good coach.

Plus, have you seen a picture of Al's kid? You gotta fucking be shitting me, that's what he looks like.

I thought it was Jon Gruden's dad at first.

The Oakland Raiders have extending their list of potential head-coaching candidates to Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers, according to Jason La Canfora of NFL Network who cites a league source.

    Dom is interesting.
    Not the greatest choice however.

So apparently Brad Childress is now a candidate in Tampa, and Wade Phillips has pulled out.

Chilly already? Whatever happened to Gruden and Cowher? Guess they're too accustomed to civilian life.

anywho, anyone want to a crack at ranking the available job openings?

    Colts
    Rams
    Dolphins
    Raiders
    Jags
    Chiefs
    Bucs

that's a tough one. Bucs' job would look great if that team would spend. Chiefs isn't a job opening anymore. Colts get the easy job of Luck, but they have little cap left and have to make bigtime decisions on guys like Mathis, Wayne, Tamme, Gonzalez, and Garcon.

I'd probably put Rams first. You have a few years left on Jackson, you have a QB, you add a WR and then a corner or DT to go with two solid ends, and you have some pieces. If you can sum up a battle plan that easily, you have options. It's also a shit division.

included the Chiefs cause the opening was there this year, even if already filled.

Gotta hope Fisher sees it the same way.
