He is in a win-win situation regardless of where he ends up.

It looks like Orlando is going to let him out of his contract.

Well it would be a little silly to make someone coach for you who doesn't want to.

I heard he never actually signed said contract. Just backed out of the deal.

Why would Orlando have to let him out of a deal if he hadn't already signed something? Sure they will let him out of the deal (I read he signed already) but make UF pony up a million to get out of it. Chump change to them but still. He shouldn't have announced it had he not fully thought things out.

a million dollars isn't chump change to ANY college athletic program.

Then take it out of his new contract. He fucked up by signing the contract, hold him accountable

agreed. Total Putz - especially since he had a damn press conference where he stood at the podium and talked about all the great things in store for Orlando.

probably gagged on the choice when he realized how badly they wasted last year's first round pick...

why anyone would want to live in gainesville is beyond me.

    it's an armpit.

at least tallahassee has rolling hills, live oaks, two universities, state government and the beach 30 minutes south.

leaving gainesville should have been good enough. setting his family up with enough money to wipe their asses with $100 bills until his grandkids are buried was just gravy.

    what a dork.
