...just another of the many things the Jags are willing to do to piss off the Panthers, they hired Musgrave as their OC. The guy who turned down Tom Brady because of his foot speed. Good luck, Jags. Let's hope he lasts more than two seasons in one place this time.

and so it's all but done. Musgrave and Baltimore LBs coach Mike Smith are the coordinators, Ray Rhodes'll be in in Seattle, LeBeau in Buffalo, and Mora Jr, not likely to get the HC job in SF, will almost certainly come here instead of go there with his old job.

Geez. Marvin Lewis doesn't have dick to work with. Kenny Anderson left to coach QBs for the Jags too.

Panthers definitely have more to work with than SF on defense. Mora should be able to prove if he has the brains to oversee this group in the now powerful NFC South. That is if he goes to Carolina.

Well, they do have Ken Zampese as QBs coach, which is a decent hire. He was talking to now-Jags DC Mike Smith and he'll probably end up with Donnie Henderson as DC now that Jax has made their move. Mike Maser is possible at OL. They've got some people lined up, but just one hire.

According to kffl.com, the Jags have asked our permission to interview Boudreau and an unidentified assistant...no word on if permission was granted.

I've heard rumors attributed to other coaches that Lewis isn't that great of a coach. They bassically said that he fell into an unbeleivable talent pool in Baltimore.

I hope not. Boudreau's good, not great, but Mike Mazer and the other suck ass coaches left are just bad.

One word on Lewis - I forgot that he kept their OC, Braflafski or something.

Del Rio will not interfere with the offense like Seifert did. I think Musgrave will be fine in Jacksonville.
