    :umno:

everybody knew State sucked except for the ones that drank the koolaid.

Has to be the Panthers - they should be 3-0, or at least 2-1. The Saints absolutely suck and yet the Panthers couldn't figure out how to beat them.

I don't think anyone thought State would be anything special, especially knowing Jay Davis would be the QB.

No one thought State would win the ACC or anything, but c'mon you lost to UNC! The Panthers did lose to the Dolphins though :banginghe :banginghe

I wish Jake Delhomme would be as minor a problem for us as Jay Davis has been for State. I realize that he's the standard scapegoat since he was absolutely terrible last season, but State fans need to wake up and realize that their team has a hell of a lot more problems than just QB.

gimme a break, every state fan in the world thought they would challenge for the acc title....they all bought into chuck's hype machine. heck, he even had some unc fans fooled into thinking the heels didn't stand a chance. state sucks, plain and simple. the panthers at least have a chance to turn it around....state may not win another game this year.

I'm a state fan and I knew they wouldn't be any good. If I've learned anything in my 22 years of being a fan it's never to get your hopes up and don't believe it until you see it.

What State fans said they'd be a contender? Must have been one who's never heard of Jay Davis.

There are plenty of State fans around that said that. I never heard anyone say that to me in person, but statefans.com has a bunch. Of course, they're all wondering now why we (the smart ones) didn't tell them the reality of things before now.
