I know that Giblet has sucked so far. And I'm hardly Buckner's greatest fan.

But is Burton fucking starting at DT, as listed on the depth chart?

He may well be out of default. Gilbert has tendinitis in his knee and Buckner has an injury of some sort.

Didn't know about the Buckner injury. How the hell Giblet survives is beyond me. He's fucking Freddie Kruger. Except the claw is replaced with a slight limp and a fat wallet.

yeah. I forget when or where but when asked about Gilbert's status Fox seemed to say that Buckner would start if ready. They seem to think he will be, along with Rucker and Nesbit and I think Fields.

If he's not, yeah, might be Burton. And yeah, that sucks.

Plus, that depth chart's still all screwy. Has Rucker 3rd string....

I noticed that to. I was thinking they had him there just cause of the injury.

    Franklin at nickle?

It's all fucked. It's not set yet.

Off topic, but Walls said this re the qb switch:

''It was a bold move on coach Fox's part and sends a message to everybody,'' tight end Wesley Walls said. ''Coach is not afraid to make changes and that point should trickle down to every last one of us.''

That, and "Peete might actually throw me the damned ball."

Gilbert is like Jason from Friday the 13th. That asshole just won't fucking die!

Wouldn't surprise me if Wesley has the biggest day he's had in a good long while. Seems to me that veteran QB's go to their TE's more often than the 'younger' guys, especially if the WR corps is suspect.

If that happens, one of two things may happen:
    1) Weinke will remember that #85 is a freakin' 5 time Pro Bowl TE, and is on the field quite often.

or 2) Walls will lobby to have Peete remain the starter for the rest of the year, and begin an all-out QB divide among the team.

I love Walls but everybody knows he sucks up to the QB in vogue. Wouldn't surprise me if Walls shows up in dread locks sunday.
