No doubt about it. If I was a GM, I'd have all kinds of clauses in my players' contracts.

    "No running with scissors"
    "No Pop Rocks and Pepsi"
    "No eating retaurant mints."
    "No horseplay anywhere."
    "No cagefighting."
    "No fondue."

Pretty much all I'd let him do is play golf.

You know defensive linemen are going to be dropping their helmets to pop him in his jaw ala Kerry Collins

If you can't comprehend the law of averages or simply understand that the more a QB throws the ball, the greater the chances that he will be intercepted, then I can't debate anything with you.

His rating was high because he had very few pass attempts in a run-control offense. When he did have to throw it he was the beneficiary of a lot of single-coverage and open looks dumping it over the middle because of play action. He stuggles in obvious passing downs, however his offensive line and overall running game kept him out of that.

Belichek has shown how to beat that team...stack the box against the run and get Ben in long yardage situations then pressure him. He is a mess in those situations.

Long time ago I dated a guy who only drove motorcycles. I couldn't ride it without closed shoes (no sandals and such) long pants (no shorts!) and full face helmet and he followed same dress. It's true it's not about how YOU drive/ride your motorcycle (though that certainly CAN come into play if you're reckless) it's about being less visible then cars (which oh yeah also get into wrecks) and other stupid people on the road. In my car the other day, I thought I'd never make the 6.5 miles back to work after lunch because I was obviously invisible to several other drivers and that's a 4 door small sedan, so I can imagine what would happen had I been on a motorcycle!

Let's say hypothetically that a quarterback averages one pick for every eleven passes. This is just an average, it's not a guarantee that he will throw 3 picks in a game in which he throws 33 passes. How does this average/chance factor into his high passer rating? It doesn't.

I'm sorry 20 pass attempts a game aren't enough for you to realize what a great quarterback #7 is.

I respect your skills as a true playa hater. :229031_ha
