I have this sharp stabbing pain in the middle of my bicep down towards my elbow. It’s not all the time but I have noticed more after I use my arm harder. I know I have bursitis in the shoulder of that arm so I’m wondering if it’s all related or if I’ve done something else. Yes, I’m going to have it looked at soon but not in the next week or so. It’s been hurting for a couple of months. Any ideas?

My left. About three inches above my elbow.

What I did figure out is that I lean on the left bicep to lift the baby out of the crib, so maybe I have broken it down some how? I've started using my right arm for the lift for now. And then just over using it...I dont know. The kid is HUGE and I have to use my arms for everything on top of that.

Is the pain in the bicep muscle itself or just in that region?

It's either the muscle or the ligament. I really can't tell you which, but its something you can grab or pinch because I can grab the area that hurts if that makes any sense at all lol. My shoulder and elbow joints are shot out pretty good with all of the things I've done. Hiking and living in the Amazon and Outback for extended times and sports and "races".
