If no one else is gonna do it, I will...to properly roast corn, you need to find a willing bottom...say, someone like builder, or Fred. For proper insertion, liberally apply lard to all exterior surfaces. With a ball gag in place, ram that baby home. Internal body temperature is right at 98-99 degrees farenheit, so it's going to take a while to roast.

peel it back (that's what she said), pull out all the hairs and worms, soak it buttermilk for awhile...coat with soft butter, douse w/ s&p, pull husk back up, throw on a hot grill till the husk is burned.

getcha a cold  and repeat.

Hmm...that buttermilk idea is pretty good. Thanks!

Where we ate at, they had some kind of rotisserie they used.

Leave the corn in the husk but trim the top with scissors. Bake the corn on the middle rack at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Once it's cool enough to handle, peel the husk back and give a little twist and it stays together as a handle. The butter won't run off since there isn't any water between the kernels. It's the best I have every had.
