    No question about it, and if Skip somehow decides to stay at ECU the next few years, they could be that Fresno State type non-BCS program that challenges the big boys.

    I think skip stays at ECU at least through next year. if he leaves, i cant blame him....we'd all do the same for the millions

    I was also wondering how long Skip would stay around. If ECU keeps winning this year then he might be gone after this year. I don't see him leaving unless he gets offered a job he can't pass up.

    He signed an extension in August that gave him a pretty hefty raise, but I haven't heard anything about whether or not it contained a buyout. I just don't know that any of the premier jobs will be available.

    We all know these "contracts" and "extensions" aren't worth the paper they are printed on.

    He didn't leave for free. I guess contracts in WV must be worth more than in other places.

    Just saying that contracts have value if the school is willing to enforce what's in them instead of just throwing up their hands and saying "Ok, go on ahead to the next school".

    I don't even know if Holtz has a buyout clause or not.
