I think Corey Dillon broke Payton's single game record the year before last.

Brown was great, he was a player before his time. But I still think Payton was better. Payton played on a really shitty team for a long long time. I'm not sure who I would want on my team though. They were both special, but Payton could do it all and still not have to beat his wife.

I think Jim Brown could have played in Walters day and still been great, but put Walter in Jim Brown's day and age and he would have been unstoppable, untouchable, and unbeatable. It doesn't matter how you get it to him. Payton could return kicks, receive, pass, and still block with the best. Brown didn't care about nothing but getting the ball. Brown was the ultimate Keyshawn.

Just because OJ was accused of a crime he didn't commit, doesn't mean that we can leave the greatest rb of all time out of the poll. Remember 2,003 in 14 games, without a passing game (Joe Ferguson-JD Hill)

Juice should definatly be on the list, but not in the top 5. Man, I'm not going to comment on the whole murder thing, but he shouldn't be given extra credit because of it either. Hell, he showed enough lack of judgement in the Naked Gun movies.

Putting Irvin and Novacek is just as insipid.
