Best players whose career were cut short by injury

we could add Eric Swann...in a way...he continued to play with his knee problems but never was the dominating force he was before.

Aikman would probably still be playing if had had a few less concussions....ditto steve young.

 

I remember that too, Sly...Bo could have beaten him to the outside, or the inside - for the touchdown. Instead, he went through/over him.

Didn't he put his foot right on the Boz's chest?

 

alot of my favorites have already been mentioned i.e. Mike Irvin, Bo Jackson, but heres one more of my favorites that was cut down by injury.....Brian Bosworth

Robert Smith retired relatively healthy. He did miss many games due to injury but was healthy and young when he retired.

Steve Streater?? - Awesome punter and db. drafted by the redskins I believe. He would have been an all pro punter in the NFL. He was paralyzed but don't remember how.
