    Bo Jackson - hip
    Billy Sims - knee
    Reggie Brown - neck
    Chris Speilman - neck
    Sterling Sharpe - neck

    what about cut short period? How bout jerome brown of the eagles. Didn't he die in a car wreck?

    boo, what was the name of that lineman for detroit who nearly died on the playing field due to a neck injury.

    Add Mike Irvin to the list. May not like him, but he was a heck of a player.

    Bo Jackson getting hurt was the best thing that ever happened for Michael Jordan. Jackson could have been what Jordon is today.

    Bo was great. He was what Deon wanted to be, except Bo was actually a good baseball player before that hip surgery.
