I think these are all great actors, but my question is, what do you guys think has been the best perfomance they have given and
    why.

    Peter Sellers
    Clint Eastwood
    Marlon Brando
    Robert Carlyle
    Steve Buscemi
    Tim Roth
    Robert De Niro
    Christopher Walken
    Gary Oldman
    Sean Penn
    Morgan Freeman
    Samuel L. Jackson

Thanks to anyone who finds the time to do this.:)

    Welcome!

Gary Oldman was good in 'JFK', but I'm not sure if it's because it was a role in which he wasn't an overacting villian.

Peter Sellers - 'The Pink Panther Strikes Again'.:D

Clint Eastwood - I like 'Josey Wales', but 'Unforgiven' was probably a better performance.

Peter Sellers - Dr. Strangelove. He played three different characters.

Clint Eastwood - Josey Wales. (But I gotta agree with math on this)

Marlon Brando - I'm inclined to say the Godfather, because that’s really all I've ever seen him in. (Besides I've only really seen him in all the shitty movies he's done the past two decades.)

Robert Carlyle - Trainspotting. Bigby kicked ass.

Steve Buscemi - Probably Fargo. But I've liked him in pretty much anything he's done.

    Tim Roth - Reservoir Dogs.

    Robert De Niro - Everything.

    Christopher Walken - True Romance.

Gary Oldman - Leon, the Professional.

Sean Penn - I hate Sean Penn

    Morgan Freeman - Shawshank.

Samuel L. Jackson - Pulp Fiction.

i liked walken in that fatboy slim video. :) he was pretty intense in the deer hunter and badass in king of new york.

for de niro, how could you not go with travis bickle from taxi driver or jake lamatta from raging bull? hell, he was great in the deer hunter with walken.
