Don't worry, there'll be plenty of copies of Chinese Democracy available (in the $1 bins).

They're gonna catch hell for havin TV on the Radio @ #50. I'm terrible at ranking this stuff - only a few picks stand out as too high or too low. I bolded all the ones Ive heard this year. Some comments on others.

Overall, it was a weaker year for new releases, regardless of what anyone claims.

On the plus side of the list, Fleet Foxes contained some of the best songs of the year. And Bon Iver was real good. TV on the Radio-Dear Science was ho hum. Like most of the best records of '08, it had some good songs, not a complete good album. Evil Urges is shockingly bad. She and Him is unlistenable.

You downloaded the "leaked demo" version. Songs sound different. Also, there are 3-4 on the new album that haven't leaked.

After hearing the title track...this will sell 2+ million. It'll be the second good release of 2008. Metallica's Death Magnetic being the other one. :trampoline:
