I'd like to put a vote in for my d'backs.

We've got pretty much the whole AAA Tuscon Sidewinders team called up right now, and they're kicking ass!

I hear ya and agree on the Dbacks.
When they lost Johnson & Schilling, I figured they were screwed...........and those two were only the start of their injuries.

Another farm system I've been impressed with is the Minnesota Twins.......Cause they sure don't do it with $$$$$.

They're quite a impressive contrast to someone like the Mets (who just continue to hemorage cash) or the Tigers (who just don't understand the concept of the competitive play).

Anyone heard an over/under on the number of days until Alan Trammell tries to jump off a bridge????

Not trying to start an argument here........but I'm not sure that I'd put the Yankees up with some of the other teams mentioned here.

The Yanks are definitely above average but do they any real talent ready to emerge????????? Don't say Drew Henson... I've been following him for the last two seasons and I think should go play in the NFL (or just give up and get a real life).

i can totally agree with all that have been mentioned so far but the yankees....haven't seen much come out of their system in some time.

atlanta, for the reasons in the other thread
oakland, pitchers, that should say enough, but they've put some fine position players thru as well
dodgers, notorious for great farm system
toronto, several guys that sneak under the radar
montreal, if they could only afford to hang on to some of that talent, have given up several in trades the last few years
d'backs, like gal said, they pretty much have their triple A club winning now in the bigs

the royals, similarly to montreal have had to let several good home-grown players go...not sure what they have in their system now tho

Well, the first question was really more of a statement, but I'll comment anyway. I talk about them all the time! Or maybe I just imply my fan-dom and expect that people pick up on it.

I'm a fan because I lived in AZ for a few months, and got hooked. I went to a bunch of games and watched all the rest on tv, and now I'm addicted to d'backs!

hmmm....looks like they will take my boys place in 2nd place. With the best pitching but worst hitting we have wasted another year.
