    I was in high school during that time. I remember watching that game. I haven't like Laettner/Duke since. There's a whole freaking web page from some UK fan devoted to THE STOMP.

    I had gone to the Steeple chase in Camden that day - came home and saw the end of the game.

    As a Tar Heel fan and a lifelong dook hater I am ashamed to admit I was excited for dook and pulling for them.

    Guess I hated Kentucky even more then.

    Don't think I could pull for the evil dookies again though
