i listen to squeeze. not a funny band name, but i thought odd.

my fav name here: flying burrito brothers.

dave matthews band, steve miller band and the dirty dozen brass band never stood a chance here.

 

To tell the truth, I thought this thread was about creating names for bands; not names of already existing groups; that some posters didn't read it right and are posting names of real bands.

You mean there's an actual band called japancakes?

I did a couple of weeks with the flying burrito brothers east; back when they split up and formed, albeit briefly, the fbb east and fbb west.

yes. really, japancakes. they're sorta electronica - steel guitar. It's really just something I listened to because of the name but I do like two of their songs.
