I forgot abuot Golden Axe....I had Karate Champ in my house many years ago and got very bored with it, buta quality game. Lets face it...there aren't many of these that I didn't play...i wonder how much money I dumped in arcade games from 1979-1993.

Stargate was one of them. Your drive a spaceship around and shoot aliens that are picking up 10 of your pegs (I guess they were like people) There were space pods that if you shoot them they released a cluster of things. Basically you were to clean up the skies.

Can't remember the name of the game but it was a 4 man football game. 2 people per team that you had a 8 inch ball and a button per person. The ball controlled one persons motion the button allowed you to change which person (of 2 or three I think) or throw depending on who played QB for that sides team. More than once I came home with beaten up hands from rolling that ball. It was hands down the best game IMO

I grew up playing pinball until I was around 10. Then the video games came...

I'd like to have a few of those quarters back.

We used to play Karate Champ for money. If you played defense and were patient, you'd win a lot. I could understand how you'd get bored with it..
