That's because he tries to use one too much. Just another highlight reel wannabe reciever.

 

WEll...a lotta people could say this team was mismanaged. WE gave up so much talent, and never restocked. Some can say Richardson let his own team take a bullet to prove a fucking point, with this labor shit.

If he did....IF he did. Hope the old man burns in hell. IF...he did.

I hate to say it...


...but I'm a little excited for this team in the future, as bad as we've looked.

I think we have a good quarterback, who will grow into maybe, just maybe, a great one. I think with a little help next year, and a new coach, fresh, (and I DO like Fox, but we all know he;s gone) new perspective...I think we can do some things. I really do.

We need to get some DL. Too bad we let the best one in the league go for nothing.

there's plenty to like about this team. I hate that this season may be about the coaching uncertainty, I think there's a lot that would be different about the mindset, right or wrong. I don't think it can be avoided.

But, Clausen looks like an accurate, able guy in his first real playing time. Well, hell, that's about all we really require. He had some good arm late, on the deep balls. He has all the tools. And


Even with two nobodies at DT we look good on defense. There's room in the middle sometimes, but we held a very good back to few yards early. They had to go to tricks to get up on us. And there's that feeling that no matter what happens, one of the few things we'd go get next year is DT help. But that's next year, and we're not there.

So, if we can stay healthy, I like our D. This game's D, slippery balls aside, is the top unit we had last year. And punt coverage was great. We just have to worry about the rest of field position - gaining something on the first set of downs, not letting the ball be spotted inside the ten every fucking time.
