    News
Bengals running back Corey Dillon is threatening to retire after this season if things don't improve and major changes aren't made on their winless team. "They better get it right, or, at the end of the season, I've got a surprise for them," Dillon told a the Bengals' Web site. "I'm tired of it. Six years of this B.S. I ain't lying to you.-- I'm sick of this crap, period." Dillon signed a five-year, $26 million contract prior to last season and would forfeit two thirds of his $10.5 million signing bonus in addition to base salaries that exceed $3 million if he were to hang 'em up.

I can't blame the guy, either, except for signing a friggin' contract extension! He coulda really been something on a winning team. It's a shame, really.

How the hell was he supposed to get out? The Bungles weren't going to let their best player get away. With the use of the franchise tag, no team would be able to get him, no matter how bad they really wanted him. I guess he could sit out and demand to be traded, although I don't know how that one would turn out.

Imagine what they could get for him? They need help in all areas and rb's are a dime a dozen. I'd use him like SD did with Vick. They came out smelling like a rose. But this is Cincy we're talking about and they would probably trade him for Bam Morris and a pack of smokes.

well hell even if they got quality draft picks they'd fuck it up on shity picks

  7. it is kinda funny...they'll have the number one pick this year and will have to take a QB...again.

Out of all their flops the one that surprises me the most is Kijana Carter...I thought he'd be a good one.

I wonder how many teams have the cap room to trade for Dillon. The year Falk was traded there was only three...turned out to be the best move the Rams could have made.

Dillon is awesone...everygame, the D is stacked against him and he still produces.

Same shit, different year with Corey. I might actually believe him if he had displayed some real guts and gone to flipping burgers the last time he started with threats like this. Franchise tag or not. Buckets of cash will shut him up this time too. Did he really think the franchise was going to change?

i thiink dillon held out of camp last year, but i can't remember if it was because he was a unrestricted free agent or not......i know the bengals would't let him go and he signed a one year tender offer......then later in the year he signed an extension. they have some very good talent in cincy...dillon, warrick, spikes, smith, and two bookends in jones and anderson. i just think the coach isn't great and ill repeat this one mre time....owners do not need to be general managers!!!! i feel bad for thier fans, i remember last year how tough it was staring at 1-15.
