It is a shame that happens. But at least State doesn't have to worry about a cheating coach and when some player is going to bring guns and drugs on campus.

Do you even know who State football coach is?!?!?!

Oh and FWIW... how many of those players are on UNC's roster now? From what I understand the "cheating coach" dismissed them from the team. No susspension. No short term benching. Simply "you're gone", but wait... he made sure those guys still had scholarships in order to finish their education out first. Yep... seems like a bad guy to me.

Yes, I know he's not had any of those problems during his tenure. He's had to cut kids because of academics, not because they're criminals.

Didn't say he was a bad guy. When did I say he was a bad guy?

So you're saying Bunting is a lesser coach, because he was unable to predict a players future when recruiting him? Because none of those kids had prior criminal records... none of them had shown signs of being trouble. So he's supposed to be able to tell those guys... nope can't bring you on, because in the future you may get arrested. Geez.

Had I known the Chest could predict the future he'd have been gone long before now... makes all those stupid coaching moves even worse.

I don't get this. Amato is the one who skirts the rules, not Bunting, and the Wolfpack tends to have far more thugs on its teams than Carolina (or Duke or Wake or pretty much anyone else in NC). And yeah, not really smart to take a shot at Tar Heel football when we beat you every single year. If you didn't play all cupcakes and we didn't play among the toughest schedules in the nation, our overall record would probably be better as well.
