Beer & V8

Doesn't this have a name? I thought it was a Boilermaker but apparently that's someone who goes to Purdue. Anyway, I'm craving it- recipes anyone? I found this:


Celery salt
3 lemon wedges
Ice cubes
2 (12-ounce) bottles lager beer
12 ounces spicy vegetable juice (recommended: V8)
Worcestershire sauce
Freshly ground black pepper
2 stalks celery

Pour celery salt into a shallow bowl or small plate. Rub the rims of 2 (16-ounce) tumblers with 1 of the lemon wedges. Dip rims into celery salt. Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour half of the beer into each glass and top with the spicy vegetable juice. Add a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce and freshly ground black pepper. Garnish with remaining lemon wedges and celery stalks.

 

I call it a, "red eye"

Boilermakers are a beer with a shot (whiskey typically) I've seen guys drop a shot glass filled with liquor in the beer glass half filled with beer and down them. Brutal

I always referred to the beer and V8 as a Red Beer.

 

this could be tried the night HG is in town. playa drinks it 1st...

 

It's called 'mater beer.

 

How exactly do you go about measuring that?
