beer can chicken

    I've had beer can chicken many times. It's damn good. Juciest chicken I've had and there's no "beer" taste involved.

    I concur. Plus, shoving stuff up animals asses can be entertaining as well.

    Beer can chicken? Sounds interesting...how would one go about cooking it? What do you do?

    Drink half a can of beer, stick can of beer up chicken carcass and prop up over indirect heat on a grill (preferably a charcoal grill) for about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. You can also rub chicken with whatever dry spices you like or replace beer with fruit juce or whatever.

    I used a dry rub, and to tell ya the truth I can't remember what I used. I'll have to see if I can find that recipe, it's been a while.

    don't forget to plug up the neck hole with a potato or onion.

    I used my son's plastic yo yo, which proceeded to melt all down the bird and formed a delightful glaze.
